Spa addition & new deck

Complete proposal · 7 line items

The sunshelf area of your pool becomes a 5' x 13'6" flush spa with air jets and a light. The area is rebuilt on a new concrete slab with mitered coping and large-format porcelain pavers, and the pool and spa get a new Florida Stucco Gem finish. Engineering and every permit fee are included.

One proposal, one fixed price. Two paver ideas to choose from; the paver material is selected separately.

OPTION 01 / WORK SEQUENCE VIDEO

Spa addition & new deck

$48,440 · Proposal 5229-1
LIQUID LUXE / KRASNOW SPA PROJECT VISUALIZATION
ILLUSTRATIVE WORK SEQUENCE · NOT TO SCALE KRASNOW SPA

One fixed scope: demolition in the spa area, the new flush spa built into your pool, the coping, concrete slab and porcelain paver installation, and a fresh finish for the pool and spa. The designs show two paver ideas for you to compare. Your current pavers (Salt Bianco 48x48) are discontinued, so the new material is chosen first and priced separately; everything else is in the price.

Potential advantages

  • A real spa, not a sunshelf. A 5' x 13'6" flush spa with 6 returns, an air line and a light, built into the pool you already love.
  • Seamless with your pool. Same plaster finish, waterline tile and mitered coping, so the spa looks original to the house.
  • A deck built to last. A new concrete slab with crack-suppression membrane under 2 cm porcelain pavers.
  • Two looks to compare. Paver idea 1 keeps a light, calm deck; paver idea 2 adds wood-look planks around the spa and fire wall.
  • Permits with no surprises. Every city, county and private provider fee is in the price, and the private provider keeps the project at least 50% faster.

Limitations to resolve

  • Paver material not included. The existing Salt Bianco 48x48 porcelain is discontinued, so the deck and coping material must be selected first; its cost is added once chosen. The price covers the installation labor.
  • Fire wall is optional. The linear fire wall in the renders is an optional add-on (see below), not part of the total.
  • Timeline. 2 to 3 weeks of engineering, 4 to 8 weeks for permits, then construction.
  • Final layout. Dimensions are approximate; elevations and the final layout follow the engineered plans and site conditions.

Next decision: choosing the paver material (idea 1 or idea 2) and approving the proposal lets engineering start.
